1. Thickness deviation of single board

In theory, the thickness of the veneer produced by rotary cutting should be uniform and consistent, but in reality, due to factors such as machine tool accuracy, cutting conditions, wood material, and stress generated inside the wood.

There is always a difference in thickness. In this way, when applying adhesive, the amount of adhesive applied to each part of the veneer is inconsistent, and uneven internal stress will be generated when the adhesive solidifies and shrinks. During gluing, the local amount of adhesive accumulates, forming adhesive lines, and the bonding strength is uneven; After gluing, technological wood is prone to deformation and cracking. Single board thicknessThe uneven distribution of wood grain can easily lead to variations in the texture of technological wood, so the thickness deviation of veneer used in the production of technological wood is generally controlled within ± 0.02mm.

2. Mechanical processing defects of single board

Not strictly following the regulations for hydrothermal treatment and rotary cutting, violating the adjustment parameters of cutting tools, and using equipment that has been worn and poorly adjusted and maintained can all cause defects in veneer mechanical processing, which will have varying degrees of impact on the production of technology wood,

3. Natural defects in the single board

Trees are plants that grow in the natural environment. Due to changes in natural climate, trees are susceptible to insect damage and bacterial erosion, resulting in the formation of wormholes and wormholes in their trunks; The branches that grow during the growth process will leave knots in the trunk after being sawn; The storage period of logs is eroded by wood rot fungi

It will decay. After rotary cutting of such trees, natural defects such as insect holes, insect grooves, discoloration, live knots, dead knots, and decay will appear on the veneer surface.
